The Law of Attraction … and your RAS
If you’re into ‘woo-woo’ then you’ve probably heard of the Law of Attraction. What you think about, focus on and visualise will come to you, if you add in some positive action and the right mindset. Create a vision board. Picture your goal becoming reality with every little detail.
If Law of Attraction isn’t for you, then know this: Your reticular activating system is the part of your brain that focuses on what you’re thinking about. So, you know when you buy a new BMW and then everywhere you go, you see BMW’s? That’s just your brain spotting the BMW’s because you’ve been focusing on them. So, keep reminding yourself of your goal and you’re more likely to spot opportunities.
