Day Trip: Hever Castle

We enjoyed a really lovely day out to Hever Castle, in Kent. Built in the 13th Century, Hever was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, and was owned by Henry VIII after the death of Anne’s father.

There’s lots of history, clearly, things to learn and see and the grounds are lovely, too.

Highly recommend for a day out.
