Make your life as fun as possible

… because on your last day, you won’t wish you’d done more chores!

How much fun are you having?
Do you have hobbies or passions?
What’s on your bucket list of things to do, see, experience and learn about?
Do you get to spend time with your favourite people?
What do you do to relax? To take care of yourself?

Excuses

“I don’t have time” seems to be the most common excuse when it comes to having enough fun… yet, how much time do you spend on Facebook? Watching TV? Cleaning your house?!

Prioritise and get organised

Sometimes, you just need to prioritise the fun, and then schedule it in. Just do it. Life is too short for anything else.

Some inspiration…

Get into nature

Go for a lovely, long walk - be it in the woods, at the beach, or up a mountain, you’ll have a great day.
Don’t forget to pack a picnic!

Pamper time

Grab a massage or facial. Book a spa day.

Take some alone time to relax with a good book in a quiet cafe, with a lovely slice of your favourite cake.

Hobbies

Learn a musical instrument. Take up knitting or yoga or try an art class. Write a poem or story.

What have you always fancied doing?

See a show

Music concerts. Sports events.
Comedy gigs. Theatre shows. TV audience recordings.

Exhibitions and national events.

Travel

Where have you always wanted to go, and what’s stopping you?

If it’s money, find a way to make more and save up. See the world…

Go for a drive

Taking a drive can be a lot of fun, put some great music on and take some snacks.

Try the ‘Left, Right’ game and see where you end up.

Days Out

Visit a castle or stately home. Go to the beach. Try a museum or theme park.

Pick a town you’ve never been to and go there for a wander.

Play

There are so many options: board games, on your computer or console, with your kids…

or play a game of tennis/football/whatever you fancy.

We all know, life can be fleeting. So make the most of every single day.
